Maximum daylight. Seamless connection to outside.
A well-chosen sliding door is more than a large pane of glass — it shapes how you use your home every day. We advise based on your home, not on standard packages.
Which sliding system fits?
For daily intensive use (family, garden) a lift-and-slide system is the most comfortable: soft closing, low threshold, smooth running. For seasonal use a folding (bi-fold) system works well: maximum opening, less elegant in daily use.
- 2-, 3- or 4-part
- Lift-and-slide for daily use
- Folding/bi-fold for maximum opening
- Corner sliding door for 90° vista
- Up to 6+ metres width possible
Material: aluminium or PVC?
For sliding doors aluminium is usually the right choice: slimmer profiles, stronger load capacity and smoother running in daily use. PVC sliding doors are a good budget choice up to roughly 3 metres width; beyond that aluminium really pays off.
Threshold and accessibility
Standard threshold (50 — 70 mm) is cheaper and easier to waterproof. Low threshold (≤ 20 mm) gives a near-flush feel and is beautiful for barrier-free living — needs extra attention to water management. Fully flush is only possible under a covered outdoor area.
- Standard 50 — 70 mm
- Low threshold ≤ 20 mm
- Fully flush (covered)
- Wheelchair / walker accessible
- Drainage and water management included
